Watchaaa! Haiyaaaa!!

Haha. Sound effects. Always, always heard that in the movies. A bit exaggerating maybe but could have worked to double the aura of a fighter. To be seemingly fierce and impregnable in the eyes of an opponent. But surely that's not enough if you don't have some martal arts skills! No luck in creating all those funny sounds and wails to get you out of trouble. Hehe. That's why I decided to borrow a Karate Warrior book- A guide for beginners like me. Am yet to attend a formal class but at least it gives me some ideas about combat techniques and self-defence. A Sensei. ^_^ Full of pictures and tips by the expert black-belt holder Austin St.John, or if you could recall, he acted as Jason the Red Ranger in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Haiz.. miss that first season and its original characters. Like it since I was a child. :)

Tummy-rumbling hungry me then headed down to the KFC eatery together with Ibu and my 'lil sis after the visit to Jurong East Regional Library. Ibu bought two sets of Banditto pocket meals for us. Ooooh.. love the Cheese Fries!! And also the super duper Cappucino Crunch ice-cream. =D

Hahaz. Couldn't forget this one particular scene. Accompanied my 'lil sis to a shop for a while and was startled a bit there when a friendly female staff asked,"Ni anak eh?" (Is she your daughter?) Haaa??! o_O "Ooh tak cik, ni adik saya.."(Oh no ma'am, she's my sister) *Sheepish smile* Adehh.. my Sis Ain surely cackled a lot like exploding firecrackers after we left the shop. *sigh* -_-

Nothing Transcends The Beauty of Allah's Creations.

SubhanAllah. I love star-gazing really much. How nice it would be if we could walk out on a starry night and simply relish the splendours of the cosmos. Though there's not much to see from the view here in metropolitan Singapore. On most days only a few of 'em will emerge twinkling. Haiz.. dream of witnessing a meteor shower with bright shooting stars streaking the sky. Ooohh.. lovely! ^_^

"By the Star when it goes down,-
Your Companion is neither astray nor being misled.
Nor does he say (aught) of (his own) Desire.
It is no less than inspiration sent down to him:.."

~ (Surah An-Najm, Verses 1-4)

Meanwhile, I did a little search a while ago and stumbled on Space.com. Had a chance to peer through the lenses of astrophotographers in its picture collection. Great links provided too. A must-visit webbie for astrolovers like me. =) Click here aite.

A fighting scene from Star Wars. Lightsabers are real cool. Anyone care to buy me a glowing green one? Hehe. :P

Shohwah

Wahai fajar Islam, karenamu
betapa manis penderitaan dalam perjuangan
keindahanmu mewarnai mimpi-mimpi
membuka fikiran dengan pemahaman
hari-haripun menyambut dan
memeluk tunasmu yang tumbuh

wahai Al-Qur'an, karenamu
seruan da'wah pun meninggi
keimanan bergelora dan gunung-gunungpun bergetar
karena da'wahmu selalu diberkahi Ar-Rahman

Ayat-ayatmu memancarkan cahaya keadilan
penuh dengan kenikmatan
jiwa dan darah kami menjadi tebusanmu
seperti ayat-ayatmu yang bercampur
dengan nafas para syuhada
lalu menyebar menghilangkan kegelapan

wahai pintu-pintu sejarah yang selama ini tertutup
telah datang satriamu
yang engkau nantikan
setelah sekian lama dalam kebingungan
ia datang membawa kunci yang hilang
dibawah panjinya, kemenangan bagimu pasti terjadi

wahai fajar kebangkitan
kau takkan pernah terkalahkan
pedang ditanganmu kan selalu tajam
majulah, dan majulah
kuda perangmu telah meringkik
menantimu

dan kemenangan, meski terasa lama
pasti terwujud

"..Usahlah Engkau Selindungkan Bayangmu
Renungi Asal Kejadian Dirimu
Berjalan Tunduk Bukan erti Kau Kalah
Tebarkanlah Serata Jiwa

Usahlah Engkau Persalahkan Kakimu
Andainya Rebah Di Bumi Mu Sendiri
Mungkinkah Ada Kesilapan Semalam
Lafazkanlah Sejujur Hati.."

Set out to madrasah with an anxious heart. No doubt my friends are going through the same thing too. Oh Allah give me strength. PSTE result was out today... >_< Felt really elated to have met my dearest Ustazahs again. Just seeing them lightened up my thoughts. Their words are as precious as pearls. Terubat rinduku ini..

Then seven of us headed to The Coffee Bean @ the Singapore Post Centre. The Ultimate Ice Blended certainly perked me up. A first-timer me tasted the "branded" coffee. =) An unessential but lovely luxury I would say. Once in a blue moon is enough. Can brew one at home from a ready-mix package. Heheh.

Zuby-chan and I later went to Naadhi's house after her class finished at 1 pm. Us trio then hurried for Temasek Polytechnic's seminar at 2.30. A briefing conducted on the junior colleges, polytechnics and the university education offered here. Standing at the crossroads. So what's the next step? One tough riddle to crack. Hmmm..

"An a day keeps the doctor away.."

Adehh.. I keep sneezing since yesterday. Still in a daze when Zuby called Ibu's handphone. Ooops I guess she heard me talking gibberish. Heheh. :D

It's been quite some time since I last attended a religious class more or less the same like the ones I had at madrasah. Syukran jazilan Sis Halimah for recommending me about it. :) Went there together with her last Tuesday. Toh Guan Road is not that far for me with a fairly 15 minutes journey on a bus no. 187 straight from home. The class is conducted in halaqah or "learning cicles" witb the Ustaz covering parts of Imam Nawawi's At-Tibyan and Imam Ghazali's Bidayatul Hidayah books each week. It lasts for more than an hour- but truly worthwhile indeed. Alhamdulillah. :) How great it is if my friends can be there too! *Wishing*

Meanwhile, I've read Sis Halimah's latest post and discovered something new. Located at the blessed valley of Hadhramaut, Dar- Al Mustafa is an educational institute established for the study of traditional Islamic Sciences. For sisters there's the Dar Al-Zahra. SubhanaAllah. Such a place really seems captivating and awe-inspiring for those seeking the fountain of knowledge. Click here.

Below is a typical schedule of a student's day at Dar al-Mustafa (exact times may vary). Must learn to discipline myself to follow this too. Been spending too much time on the Internet till my Sis Nad said that I'm already addicted to it. *sigh*

03:45am - wake up for tahajjud and adhkar
05:00am - pray Fajr
05:30am - Quran recitation and adhkar
06:00am - 1st class: Jurisprudence (fiqh)
06:50am - 2nd class: Arabic grammar (nahw)
07:40am - break for exercise and breakfast
09:00am - 3rd class: Hadith or Theology (aqidah)
09:50am - 4th class: Quranic exegesis (tafsir)
10:40am - nap time (qaylulah)
12:30pm - wake up and pray Zuhr
01:15pm - Quran recitation
01:45pm - break for lunch and daytime duties
04:00pm - pray Asr
04:45pm - 5th class: Sciences of the Heart
06:15pm - break
06:45pm - pray Maghrib
07:15pm - 6th class: Jurisprudence (fiqh)
08:15pm - pray `Isha
08:40pm - eat dinner

Dinukil dari lelaman Cyberita:

Mantan presiden Mahkamah Syariah, Haji Abu Bakar Hashim, meninggal dunia selepas subuh di Hospital Raffles semalam, setelah dirawat kerana mengalami perulangan barah perut sejak Selasa lalu.

My whole family was really saddened by the news. A deep loss since the passing of Allahyarham Ustaz Syed Abdillah Ahmad Al-Jufri nearly two years ago. Was a great man and exemplary Islamic fiqure to Singaporean Muslims. May Allah bless his soul. Al-Fatihah.

Yesterday... All my troubles seemed so far away
Now it looks as though they're here to stay
Oh, I believe in yesterday

*hums* Ooooh best. English oldies do have that nostalgic sweetness which give a smacking tug to your heartstrings. That's exactly what I experienced when I went to Nanyang Polytechnic's open house on the eve of 'Eid. The song "Yesterday" by The Beatles was played on-stage by students from the Guitar Club. A musical onslaught. A good one that is. :) Though I think it would be wonderful if they could strum their talent to Richard Marx's quintessential heart melting number "Right Here Waiting". ^_^

Yosh~! Done with Ngee Ann and Nanyang Polys open house. Next stop for me will be Temasek poly's "Beyond O'level Seminar" which I have registered for. InsyaAllah will tag along my two friends Naadhi and Zuby. Wheeee~ Here I come!

Yayy there's an upcoming Japanese drama on Channel 8. It debuts tonight(!) at 11 pm. Double Score. Stars Sorimachi Takeshi and Oshio Manabu. Hmm interesting. But then I'll have to miss an episode of my fav Cold Case series if I want to watch it. Oh Why do they have to start at the same time?? >_<

The fantastic duo . Yeehaa~!

Tekad

Tuju sasaran , siapapun pemanahnya

Kami adalah pedang-pedang terhunus
Yang siap terayun menebas musuh
Tiada peduli siapapun pemegangnya

Asalkan ikhlas di hati tuk hanya Ridho Ilahi

Robbi....
Kami adalah tombak-tombak berjajar
Yang siap dilontarkan dan menghujam
Menembus dada lantakkan keangkuhan

Kami adalah butir-butir peluru
Yang siap ditembakkan dan melaju
Dan mengoyak menumbang kezaliman

Asalkan ikhlas di hati tuk jumpa wajah Ilahi Rabbi

Kami adalah mata pena yang tajam
Yang siap menuliskan kebenaran
Tanpa ragu ungkapkan keadilan

Kami pisau belati yang selalu tajam
Bak kesabaran yang tak pernah akan padam
Tuk arungi da'wah ini, jalan panjang

Asalkan ikhlas dihati menuju jannah Ilahi Rabbi

"Kak Diyana why are your palms so hot???" Err.. why huh? Guess it occurs naturally lah sis dear. If my hands are warm, then it means I'm feeling fine. But if they are not, well.. it seems that the heat moves up to my head and stays there for a while. 'Cos that what happens when I'm down with cold or fever. Haha.. :D *chuckles*

Read this manga called Yakitate!! Japan. Just finished two volumes of it, but dear me it's hilarious! The characters in Yakitate are suitably eccentric that they are presented in such a way that bread making is portrayed much in the same way as a martial art. Though sometimes the storyline kinda goes crazily funny over-the-top and exaggerates way too much. Just imagine this. The people who take a bite out of those extraordinary breads could easily bend 90 degress backwards out of pure delight! *Ouch* With blinding golden rays of light as the special effects and *poof!* they are blasted waaaay off into outer space by the sensation in their mouths. Hahaha! =D

Azuma Kazuma. Catchy name aye? In the story he has those pair of hands dreamt of by every baker whom they hailed as the "Solar Hands". Those who possess such warmth within could well create a perfecto bread. A so-called magical gift. Woah. That inspires me~! Hehehe. =) But in reality, it's real hard to master the tricks of a Chef. The recipes might be exactly the same, but the taste differs when different people cook it. Hamba ingin berguru..

Doodle-doodle-do. Am trying to come out with a good sketch but still the effort seems fruitless time and time again..*sigh* Bought a Japanese-brand Kuretake Artist Sketching Pen two weeks ago for the inking part, but with no good drawings to begin with.. well, it kinda gets pretty agitating for me. Huhu.. played with my little sister's acoustic guitar. Never took up any music lessons before so I just keep strumming the strings. But it sounded real funny. Macam lagu dayak pulak. Ehehe. :P

Fact is- People are born with different talents. Being unique in their own special way. Quoting Wanzu-sensei from Alwancomics,"Kalau setiap bakat tu diibaratkan warna.. Kita gabungkan akan menjadi indah macam pelangi.." See? Each has its own significance thrown together to complete a beautiful existence like a rainbow. =)

"I only have twenty-six letters of the alphabet. I don't have color or music. I must use my craft to make the reader see the colors and hear the sounds." - Toni Morrison

Been reading works of Khalil Gibran. And surely they need quite some time for me to drink in the words and truly absorb their meanings, just like any other poetry. But no doubt that they are a wonder that comes forth flowing from a vast source of creativity and deep knowledge. He is a gifted man indeed.

..:: Pain by Khalil Gibran ::..

And a woman spoke, saying, Tell us of Pain.

And he said:

Your pain is the breaking of the shell that endoses your understanding.

Even as the stone of the fruit must break, that its heart may stand in the sun, so must you know pain.

And could you keep your heart in wonder at the daily miracles of your life, your pain would not seem less wondrous than your joy;

And you would accept the seasons of your heart, even as you have always accepted the seasons that pass over your fields.

And you would watch with serenity through the winters of your grief.

Much of your pain is self-chosen.

It is the bitter potion by which the physician within you heals your sick self.

Therefore trust the physician, and drink his remedy in silence and tranquillity:

For his hand, though heavy and hard, is guided by the tender hand of the Unseen,

And the cup he brings, though it burn your lips, has been fashioned of the clay which the Potter has moistened with His own sacred tears.

Malu rasanya mengatakan cinta
Kepada dia kekasih Allah
Kerana dia insan mulia
Sedangkan diriku insan biasa

Kerana peribadinya aku terpesona
Kerana budinya aku jatuh cinta
Rinduku padanya tiada terkata
Nantikanlah daku di taman Syurga..

Afghan Refugee Camp, Peshawar, Pakistan

October 2003:

This young girl carries an insulated cooler of water from the camp's well to her home. There is no running water to supply her family with their bathing and drinking needs so she fills up across the refugee camp and hauls it to her home.

Many young people like her are in service to their families and others to supply these much needed tasks.

Photojournalism- The Forgotten Art

Many people do not know what photojournalism is at all. Photojournalism is photography intended to describe or document in pictures the events of individuals, groups of people, governments, history, and so on. Photojournalism gives us newsworthy photographs wherein the primary motivation is to recount a story, the photographer never disturbing the natural events in the scene.

People are scared to see the real, sometimes hard life. They prefer to take a look at bloody stuff, but only if it is fake blood. Don't forget: real things are happening in the world, and it is our task to document the actual life on our planet to make sure that the knowledge of the mankind doesn't get lost. Or do you want to have a new Hitler, because everybody forgot what happened in World War II? A loss of information about our past is always a loss of liberty. Help to make sure our children will live in a free and peaceful world.

~ an excerpt from bzed's article at deviantArt.

Am listening to: Halimatus Sa'adiah by In-team

Get ready to visit spectacular enchanted castles and far-off lands in this magical, musical journey. This magnificent production is an amazing voyage to the fantasy worlds of your favorite Disney princesses. Experience the romance, fun, and adventure with Cinderella, Jasmine, Ariel, Belle, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and Mulan as they bring the magic to your hometown in this royal skating extravaganza!

Wanna go wanna go! Would love to watch the Disney princesses performing on ice. Especially Snow White. A tenderloving maiden with the purest of hearts. My fav of 'em all.. ^_~
Magic Mirror: Famed is thy beauty, majesty. Behold, a lovely maid I see. Rags cannot hide her gentle grace. Alas, she is more fair than thee. Lips red as the rose. Hair black as ebony. Skin white as snow...

Aha! This part of the story is truly sweet~ Here's an excerpt I stumbled upon from this amazing website.

After their supper in the cottage, the dwarfs put on an entertaining show with "The Dwarfs' Yodel Song." Dancing, singing, accordion playing, yodeling, and merriment accompany the music. The woodland creatures watch through the open window, moving to the rhythm. In one of the amusing segments of the entertainment, Dopey comically balances himself on Sneezy's shoulders, making them tall enough to dance with Snow White, but unwieldy when Sneezy explodes with a sneeze.

After the music, they ask her to tell them a story. She remembers when she met the Prince: "Once there was a Princess...and she fell in love...Anyone could see that the Prince was charming, the only one for me...There's nobody like him, anywhere at all." Snow White breaks into song, "Someday My Prince Will Come":

He was so romantic, I could not resist.
Someday my Prince will come
Someday we'll meet again
And away to his castle we'll go
To be happy forever I know
Someday when spring is here
We'll find our loved one
And the bees will sing
And wedding bells will ring
Someday when my dreams come true

All the dwarfs are mesmerized by her, except for Grumpy, who sits by himself in a corner, murmuring: "Mush." =)

Saanah helwa ya Akhawat!

The day that marks the birth of a dear friend 17 years ago. Happy Birthday Fadhilah! =)

And yesterday was Sis Nad's birthday while Sis Halimah's was on the 4th January! Accompanied my sis to Tampines and met Sis Halimah there. Solat 'Asar first at Darul Ghufran mosque; my so-called "second house". :) Then proceeded with the plan to Swensen's: The Ice-Cream Palace. The food and ice-creams listed on the menu sure look yummy, but oh boy they are hard on the price too! Scanned for the most *ehem* affordable price. ;P Ooooh.. settled on a Sticky Chewy Chocolate. Pure heavenly indulgence! Has that "oOomph!" factor packed in yeahh... 5 stars!!!

Eating only sweety-sweet Ice-cream sure didn't fill the stomach. So we went to East Point at Simei after that for it's Banquet eatery. Huhu.. I bought a Japanese Tempura set. Simply love the dip-fried prawns~~ Satisfying indeed. =)

Prayed solat Maghrib at Sis Halimah's house. Met her youngest 5-year old brother Ali. So cute! Jumping around everywhere and kept annoying his sister.. Hehe. :D Oooohh.. and she showed me her Imam Nawawi's At-Tibyan fi hamlatil Quran and Imam Ghazali's Bidayatul Hidayah. Both books are amazing!! They cost 5 dollars each. Wanna buy wanna buy! >_< Aaahhh.. I wish I have a book collection like Kak Halimah's. Shall start buying 'em slowly from now. Yosh~ Ganbatte! *enthusiastic* .. InsyaAllah. :)

Monolog seorang pejuang. Menyentuh perasaan tika ana membaca bingkisan catitan di lelaman seorang mujahid Muslim. Klik di sini untuk membaca keseluruhannya. :)

Aku termangu sendirian.. Syarat apakah itu? Banglokah? Hantaran seribu serba satukah? Kereta mewahkah? Aksesori Habib Jewels kah? Barangan kulit Bonia kah?

Mampukah saudara meletakkan kepentingan Islam melebihi segala-galanya termasuklah urusan-urusan dunia? Mampukah saudara menjual diri saudara semata-mata kerana Islam? Mampukah saudara berkorban meninggalkan kelazatan dunia? Mampukah saudara menjadikan Islam laksana bara api...

Susah senang kita tempuh bersama. Aku terharu dengan segala kebaikanmu. Kau jaga akhlakmu. Kau pelihara maruahmu selaku muslimah.

Isteriku..Tangkasnya engkau selaku suri.. Biarpun kau jua sibuk bersama mengembeleng tenaga selaku sayap kiri perjuanganku. Kau asuh mereka membaca Al Quran. Malah kau temani mereka mengulangkaji pelajaran di kala menjelangnya peperiksaan...

Isteriku...Barangkali inilah kebenarannya ungkapan keramat. Tangan yang menghayun buaian boleh menggoncang dunia. Andai Saidatina Fatimah binti Rasulullah SAW masih ada, pasti beliau tersenyum bangga kerana masih ada srikandi Islam...SEPERTIMU..WAHAI ISTERIKU SAYANG..

"A Short Letter to Allah", by Sis Nur Jannah and other great Islamic poems can be found here.

Dear Allah,
clear my mind of everything
save the thoughts of You
empty my heart of everything
save the longing for You

fill my emptiness with nothing
but the sufficiency of knowledge
soothe my loneliness with nothing
but the promise that You will never forsake me,

Your helpless servant
so much in need of Your Compassion do not reject my pleas, ya Ilahi
do not turn me away, ya Rabbi do not cast me off Your Path
do not leave me stranded without Your Love.

Alhamdulillah~~ At long last I finally bought a copy of the album "Best of In-team" I've been dreaming of!! *Grins in pure joy* ^_^ A great compilation of Best of the Best songs by them, from the first-ever classical Kasih Kekasih, awe-inspiring Rabiatul Adawiyah and right up to the beautifully melodious Nur Kasih. Soothing to the ears yeahh. Hopes to buy more Nasyid CDs in the near future and add 'em to my present collection. Simply said, this is what I call "Great Music".. =)

A picture of Dawud Wharnsby Ali. Peaceful aye~

On another note, my younger sis just bought a cool Black-with-white-rims acoustic guitar for herself!! Had it in mind but apparently she managed to get it first. =( Hmph. But it's real nice of her to let me play it too. Thanks 'Ain!! I like the thought of strumming a guitar while delivering a poem. Creates a much deeper feel to the whole thing I would say. ;)

"Empat dara duduk di tepi sungai
Duduk menjerat si ketam lah batu
Manis rupanya elok hai perangai
Hendak dipilih yang mana lah satu.."

Suka lagu ni. Kalau tak silap, pertama kali ana mendengarnya masa 3 tahun(?) lepas kat TV. Huhu.. lagu zaman dolu2. Sekarang anak-anak gadis takdelah main jerat ketam kat tepi sungai lah kan.. Haha. Masa nak hantar 'Ain naik bas sekolah lepas Subuh tadi, terdengar pulak suara kucing asyik Meow Meow. Tengok2, Oooohh... Adik rupanya. Aik, mana Si Abangnya pulak? Kesian dia duduk sorang2 dalam hujan renyai. Haha.. kelakar ah ktorang bagi dia nickname "Adik". Mungkin sebab selalunya ada tom-cat hitam yang temankan kemana sahaja tabby-cat putih ni pergi. Jadi kita berilah nama kucing hitam tu "Abang", sebab ade ciri2 "keabang-abangan" ( haha! wujud ke perkataan nih? ;P ) = penyayang dan prihatin. Huhu.. binatang pun ktorang boleh menilai karakternya eh?

..:: Quotes: Gensomaden Saiyuki ::..

"Do you seriously think that blood is the only thing in this world that is colored red?" -- Genjo Sanzo, In Sadness

"...Who do you suppose decided that the birds are free? Even if they can fly the skies unless they have a destination and a branch upon which to perch and rest their wings they might even come to resent having those wings. True freedom... true freedom may be having somewhere to return to." -- Komyou Sanzo

"A past may chase you if you try to escape from it..but once you confront it, it's just an old memory inside you.. There's nothing to be afraid of.." -- Cho Hakkai

"The scars from each's past has become the thread that binds you together now.." -- Genjo Sanzo

Alhamdulillah.. First time helping out at Saff-Perdaus was such a beautiful experience for me. Was initially going for the Project Zip! but changed to the Perdaus branch Blk 364 at Bukit Batok instead. Reached there fairly after Zuhur and oh boy, we were welcomed by a sight of mountain-high piles of big bag of clothes, boxes and etcetera. *gasps* Sis Aisyah, the sister-in-charge at the centre kindly showed us around and explained the tasks which should be done. Very approachable she is. =)

For yesterday and today, sisters had to help sorting out and packing the clothes according to children's, women's, men's and miscellaneous stuff. I was assigned to the children's section. Found soo many cute little babies' clothings..mittens and all!! Simply couldn't help but gush in delight..Cuteee!!! >_< The brothers were busy like bees too, unloading the abundant amount of donated things from big trucks and heaving all the packed bags on trolleys. Everyone was enthusiastic and energised to give our best shot, wishing that our effort could help ease the burden on the Tsunami victims. Touching aye~

Sad that I didn't have a digital camera to capture the moments. Got to know new sisters and brothers in Islam from such a wonderful event. Hope to be able to work with them again- the ones whom I truly appreciate and salute them for their kindness and burning spirit of helping one another. Marha Marha!! =) *applauds* To my sisters whom I have shared the experience throughout the two days journey: Sis Marlina, Jannah, Aishah, Noraini, Dian Hayati, Rohaizah, Fazidah, Shahidah, Wardah and many more... Hopefully I could meet all of you again one day..InsyaAllah. =)

KeredhaanMu

Ya Allah, Ya Tuhanku
HambaMu merindukan
Rahmat kasih sayangMu
Dan jua keredhaanMu
Dalam hidupku

Meskipun ku ulangi dosa noda
Yang menjanjikan azab sengsara
Namun ku sedari
KeampunanMu tidak bertepi

Ku akui diri ini
Hamba yang mungkir pada janji-janji
Jadikanlah taubat ini yang sejati
PadaMu Ilahi

Ya Allah, ampunkanlah dosa-dosaku
Ya Allah, redhakanlah kehidupanku
Moga terhapus penghijab kalbu
Antara Kau dan aku

Tuhan,
Ku zalimi diri ini
Andai Kau tak ampuni dan rahmati
Alangkah ruginya diri

Tuhan,
Jangan Kau palingkan hati ini
Setelah Kau beri hidayah
Sesungguhnya Kau Maha Pengasih

Poem

Healing by Hijabigirl
Pick up the pieces of your soul
that have been tossed into the dirt
Pick it up, polish it off, and treasure it
just as one would an echanted jewel
that was once hidden far beneath the earth
Torment your soul no more
of your searching
Let it find peace
and satisfy that longing
for the Beloved.
For, "verily in the rememberance of Allah
to hearts find rest..."
Treat your soul
with the comfort of prayer
guard it with
the shield of dhikr
Remove those black spots
with istighfaar
and caress it with
the Love of the Divine.
